Hard work and applied research since 1991 has allowed Rana Ranch Bullfrog Farm the ability to provide high quality, captive bred, commercially raised bullfrogs.

Rana Ranch Bullfrogs are docile and easy to care for, without the complications and expense of wild caught frogs. Rana Ranch Bullfrogs tolerate handling well, have simple housing requirements, thrive at normal room temperature, and don't need to hibernate. Rana Ranch Bullfrogs are accustomed to captivity and to humans and are not easily startled or stressed, they can even be trained to take food from your hand. Unlike a wild caught Bullfrog, a Rana Ranch Bullfrog  will not wear off its snout trying to escape confinement. These qualities make Rana Ranch Bullfrogs ideal for many uses.

Rana Ranch Bullfrogs will revert to wild habits when released into a natural environment. If the deep soothing call of the Bullfrogs is missing from your pond, Rana Ranch Bullfrogs can remedy the situation. Bullfrogs released into a region where they are not native or historically present can be a threat to native animals.

Efficient Amphibioculture methods at Rana Ranch allow is to offer Bullfrogs for the low price of $10.00 each for Bullfrogs up to 100 grams, $15.00 each for Bullfrogs between 100 and 200 grams, and jumbo Bullfrogs over 200 grams are just $20.00 each. Your Bullfrogs will arrive with instructions for their basic care.

Rana Ranch Bullfrogs are sent Priority Mail on Mondays and Tuesdays after we receive a check, money order, or PO #. A minimum order for two Bullfrogs is $12.00 for shipping in the U.S.A.  Add $3.00 per Bullfrog for shipping on larger orders. Check your states Bullfrog regulations before placing an order.

Other frog suppliers still rely on seasonally caught wild frogs. Various factors, including pollution, habitat loss, federally protected frog eating-birds, and over harvesting, have severely depleted many wild frog populations. Modern Aquaculture at Rana Ranch enables us to produce uniform, healthy, hardy, happy bullfrogs year-round with no adverse effects on remaining numbers of wild frogs.

Rana Ranch is in the commercial Bullfrog business not the information business. No public funds or government assistance have been used for research at Rana Ranch and all devices, techniques, and commercial rearing strategies are proprietary.

Remember, if you get Bullfrogs from a source other than Rana Ranch you may be contributing to the decline of wild frog populations.
